As a Foreign Patient How to Plan Your Visit for IVF Treatment in India
IVF treatment at our clinic requires only day visits, with no overnight hospitalization needed unless you need a surgical procedure such as a laparoscopy or a myomectomy. We provide in-house accommodation near by to our hospital and can arrange stays at nearby hotels and guesthouses if our in-house facilities are full. Our Kiran Fertility Centre team ensures you feel at home, even while away from home. We also offer airport pick-up and transportation to your pre-booked accommodation for both national and international patients.
Some Points to Consider
Email us scanned copies of the first and last pages of your passports.
We will send you an invitation letter and related documents to assist you in obtaining a medical visa.
Plan to arrive two days before your period starts.
Treatment begins on the second day of your period (Day 1 is the first day of your period).
On your first day at Kiran Infertility centre you will undergo personal and medical history authentication, examination, ultrasound, and consultation with a specialist.
The doctor will review your case in detail along with previous reports, perform another ultrasound if necessary, and advise on tests or discuss the most appropriate treatment plan.
Detailed counselling will also be provided during this time.
We will clearly explain all possibilities and help you make an informed decision.
Stimulation typically lasts for 10-12 days, varying by patient. After stimulation, eggs are retrieved, and IVF /ICSI (fertilization of eggs with sperm) is conducted in the embryology lab. The husband is required to provide a semen sample.
The embryo transfer is usually a frozen embryo transfer in the next cycles as this gives the best chance of pregnancy.
You will need to stay with us for 4-6 weeks, depending on individual medical requirements.
